Poulter pleased with level of commitment shown from his Rainworth players

Just three points separate Maltby Main, sitting in fourth place in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division, and joint sixth-placed Rainworth Miners Welfare –and as the Wrens prepare to host a mouth-watering clash at Kirklington Road on Saturday, Rainworth’s Assistant Manager Rob Poulter was pleased to report that his squad have a clean bill of health ahead of the visit of the Miners, writes Colin Muncie.

Rob told the Bootiful game “We’re really looking forward to Saturday’s NCEL Premier top six clash against a Maltby Main team who like ourselves are having a great season and have got their recruitment of players spot-on. The players have been prepared for the clash by training well Tuesday after the League Cup game against Rossington Main was called off due to the poor weather. The Manager (Craig Denton) has few selection dilemmas as we have a few players back from long term injury, and Tuesday’s training showed the commitment of the players as we had 17 at training despite horrendous conditions!!!”

Rob is pleased that Rainworth have a strong group to choose from. “We have some difficult fixtures coming up over the next month and the strength of the squad will definitely be put to the test -so our lads need to be ready if called upon”.
