Millington under no illusions how quickly seasons can turn on their heads!

His seventeenth-placed Dronfield Town side sit just two points behind Swallownest, but with a game in hand ,in Toolstation NCEL Division One-and as Town Manager Chris Millington prepares to host the Rotherham Road club at the H E Barnes Stadium tomorrow night, he admitted that the visitors’ fine display at Leaders Knaresborough Town hadn’t passed him by, writes Colin Muncie.

Chris told the Bootiful Game “We will be looking forward to hosting Swallownest tomorrow in what will be another tight game. It looked like they pushed Knaresborough all the way at the weekend in a narrow defeat -so it will be another tricky one. We are in a good place at the minute and will look to carry on doing things right”

Chris is happy with his squad’s recent output, but he’s wary of how fast things can fall away “ Two league wins on the bounce have helped us claw back some ground on the teams above us” he noted, but warned “but we are under no illusions how quickly this could change if we let our standards drop”.
