Foxy hoping his Parkgate side shake off their losing consistency

Weather permitting, Parkgate head east on the M18 tonight for their rearranged NCEL Toolstation Premier League Fixture at Bottesford Town- and Manager Billy Fox has less than fond memories of the reverse fixture at Green Lane just before Christmas, when Dec Bacon’s last gasp winner snatched defeat from the jaws of a deserved point, writes Colin Muncie for the Parkgate FC website and the Bootiful Game.

Foxy takes up the story.“Bottesford were on a very good run when they came down to our place” he said,” and we were very naive to lose in injury time -when we were hurrying up so they could score!. We played very well that day- and should have got something out of the game”.

The Parkgate Manager has noted a tail off in form from the Poachers, but is certain he knows why-and he’s looking for his own players to shrug off their own consistent run of results”.

“Bottesford seem to have lost that consistency lately -but I think a couple of their better players have been injured” he said”.

“We have been consistent though -but we are hoping to change that tonight! “
