Looking at his side’s recent excellent form, you wouldn’t have expected Handsworth Parramore’s Manager Jas Colliver to suffer from insomnia-but as he prepares his side for an important Toolstation NCEL Premier Division clash at home to Athersley Recreation tomorrow night, Jas admitted that the weekend’s goalless draw at Bridlington has had him pacing the floorboards in the early hours at Colliver Towers, writes Colin Muncie.
Jas told the Bootiful Game “The lads should go into the game full of confidence. Since Saturday I’ve been waking up in the night thinking about the opportunities we had to win the game. I’m pleased with the chances we’ve created and more importantly the chances that individuals are creating for themselves. I’m a huge believer in creating your own chances -and at the top of the pitch -and this has been much improved! If we continue to create chances I’m confident the lads will take them.
Jas is happy with the recent adjustments he’s made to his side. “The lads know what I expect from them in every game -and that’s first and foremost for them to leave nothing on the pitch as far as effort is concerned”.
“We have quality all over the pitch -so if we apply ourselves right I’m confident we can win football matches”.
