Depleted Rossington looking forward to League Cup Rainworth challenge

No sooner has the Bootiful Game  put its feet up after a busy weekend pitch side and at our keyboards than another hectic week of NCEL action comes along-and it didn’t take long for our good friend, Rossington Main Manager Lee Danysz to provide more great material for us to work with. Tomorrow night, Lee’s boys welcome Toolstation NCEL Premier Division success story Rainworth Miners Welfare to Oxford Street in the Third Round of the NCEL League Cup- and he’s looking forward to the challenge, writes Colin Muncie.

Lee told the Bootiful Game “It’s an exciting opportunity to test our wits against higher league opposition. We’ll be looking to give a good account bearing in mind we go into it with a depleted squad. The benefit for me is that I get to give some players valuable game time”

“We know what to expect- and if we can play our real game we’ll be a good match for them”.
