FA Trophy 1/4 Finalist Manager threatens to sack himself if they lose on Saturday

It’s been a great season for Billericay Town – they currently sit top of the Bostik Isthmian Premier Division by a single point – but have six games in hand over second placed Margate and also are in two cup finals and the Quarter-Finals of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

However, following last night’s 2-1 loss to Folkestone Invicta in the league, outgoing manager Glenn Tamplin has put out the following on his Twitter account:

On Saturday they face Wealdstone in the FA Trophy Quarter Finals – only time will tell what happens but Tamplin has certainly put Billericay firmly on the map since taking over and to be fair for all his criticism he has received, he loves his club through and through.
