Potter blasts “embarassing defedning” after Handsworth thumping

Last word on Athersley Recreation’s 5-0 defeat at second placed Handsworth Parramore in Toolstation NCEL Premier Division on Tuesday comes from Penguins manager Luke Potter, who pretty much got straight to the point when he spoke to the Bootiful Game, writes Colin Muncie.

“Embarrassing defending cost us again” Luke told us “We’re either brilliant or terrible at the minute and have no consistency. We don’t have a game on Saturday, so hopefully we’ll get a few more bodies back for next week’s Cup game with Handsworth”.
