The football element of the course is delivered by UEFA qualified and experienced Coaches including First Team Manager and Sheffield Wednesday Youth Development Coach Spencer Fearn, ex – professional footballer and Assistant Manager John Stancliffe, A Licence Coach Andy McKnight previously Walsall, W.B.A and several teams in Scandinavia along with the BTEC Coaching team.
First Team Manager Spencer Fearn stated “we have seen the success of the Academy based in Rotherham that competes in the National Youth Alliance over the past 2 years and have had three Academy players made their first team debuts. We are very much a club that promotes the inclusion of young players and player development is at the heart of what we do across the football club. It is an exciting programme for players to take part in and represent Frickley Athletic in the various leagues and also the F.A Youth Cup”
