Valente hoping to disappoint the Dronfield faithful on Saturday

A big game for FC Bolsover this Saturday when, weather permitting, they’ll hop over to Stonelow Road for an all-Derbyshire clash with Dronfield Town, who are running a special free-entry day to showcase their fine local club- and whilst Bolsover Manager Adam Valente will undoubtedly support the home side’s initiative, he’ll be looking to disappoint the Dronfield faithful and nip off home with three vital NCEL Toolstation Division One three points, writes Colin Muncie.

Adam told the Bootiful Game that the arrival of the “Beast from the East” had played havoc with his preparations, especially when aggravated by another weather front “Well, the Storm Emma has had the last laugh this weekend, that’s for sure! We are – hopefully- travelling the short trip to Dronfield which is another tough test, as I’ve heard that they’re a good footballing side. The lads are dying for a game-our training was called off as well, so the lads have been told to put a run in at the gym or on the road, just to get some fitness in.

“If Saturdays game is off we will train- if we can -and afterwards we’ll have a good get-together –that’ll help”
