Plenty of leagues up and down the country have seen teams having to face weeks of 3, 4 or even 5 games having to be played – but this afternoon Welwyn have tweeted about their fixture congestion.
Farcical that the @SpartanSMFL are just dropping games in on random days. Leaving not just us but other clubs playing 5 games in 8 days and won't extend the season??

The Spartan South Midlands side have 17 games left in their league as they hunt for promotion – currently second – just four points behind leaders Berkhamstead.
With only 8 weeks on the season remaining they face, without any further postponements – a couple of weeks playing two midweek games, then on the Saturday, meaning five games in ten games at one point.
