DODSWORTH: We have a really good management team in place and we are looking forward to the future at Nostell

Following that terrific win at AFC Emley in midweek, 18th–placed Nostell Miners Welfare closed the gap on  East Yorkshire Carnegie, immediately above them in 17th-to just three points; the sides meet at the Welfare Ground on Saturday, and Nostell’s Joint Manager Jason Dodsworth is spoiled for choice as he considers his selection options for a massive game, writes Colin Muncie.

Jason told the Bootiful Game “We will be hoping for back to back wins to take ourselves further away from the relegation zone. The lads will be on a high after the win against Emley so we have every confidence in them to go and get another three points on Saturday. Me, Sime (Simon Houghton, Joint Manager) and Pozzi (Ryan Poskitt, Assistant) have some tough decisions to make though, as we have a full squad of 19 players available again. And that’s with Wayne Ball our coach out injured. Bally’s been a massive help to the three of us as he’s taking the warm ups and training which allows us to concentrate on speaking to the lads.
