ROUSE: It’s crucial we stay grounded and focused on what we want to achieve

Second in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division ,title-chasing Pontefract Collieries head to Bottesford Town (12th) – and weather permitting, Colls Assistant Manager Craig Rouse is anticipating a testing ninety minutes, writes Colin Muncie
Craig told the Bootiful Game “We’re in no doubt that Bottesford will be a tough game for ourselves. After the midweek high of winning a local derby (at Hemsworth ) so convincingly it’s crucial that we stay grounded and stay focused on what we want to achieve and to do that we can’t look any further than tomorrow‘s game.
Craig wont be tsking the Poachers for granted “Bottesford are tough opposition and they can cause problems for any side in the Division on their day” he warned . “They’ll be looking at the games in hand they have over the sides directly above themselves and hoping they can push themselves up four or so places”.
Craig isn’t looking beyond the Birkdale Park clash .”We’re in good form at the minute but the message from us remains the same” he said.” The next game is the most important game- and if we take care of our business we’ll be fine.”
