With the weather beginning to relent, Eccleshill United, in third place in Toolstation NCEL Division One head to AFC Emley, always capable of surprising anyone , at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground  tonight-and Eagles Manager Sean Regan is hoping his sides’ extended period of inactivity won’t put them at too much of a disadvantage, writes Colin Muncie.

Sean told the Bootiful Game “Obviously we’re happy to get a game on as it’s been nearly a month of not playing at such a crucial part of the season. Saying that, we won’t moan anymore as other clubs are in exactly the same situation. We will have a very strong squad out that have been waiting for game time. Zeph Thomas our new signing ,will be in the squad”

“It should be a good test as Emley have managed to play a couple of games while we have had cancellations”.
