Basement Brigg not going to Ammers just to make up the numbers!

NCEL bottom side Brigg Town are winless in eight games and have to start turning their positive performances into points, and it doesn’t come much more difficult on Saturday – when they travel to Yorkshire Amateur.

Zebra’s manager Lee Thompson is always positive and backs his players to the hill, “Not going to say too much because every time we put a good performance in we don’t back it up, but if they put another hard working performance in off the ball and on it we could upset the odds.

“But we will be going there with a game plan and hopefully the lads will execute it. Will be rotating a few players around due to having four games in seven days and three of them away so we will have to be careful in what we decide to do but one thing for certain, we won’t be making it easy for any side put in front of us.

“I am sure the lads would sooner play than train!”
