On paper it seems pretty much a foregone conclusion, as second place Eccleshill United host 19th placed FC Bolsover – but as this league has already shown, anyone can beat anyone,

The Eagles are hoping to continue their unbeaten, having drawn two and won one from their last three, whilst Bolsover are hoping to bounce back after last Saturday 5-0 hammering at the hands of Hallam.

Eccleshill manager Sean Regan is eager for his side to build some momentum, “We actually need these games to try get some consistency put together. The positive thing is that we are not losing.

“however we are not taking the opportunity to build a gap when we could have between us and the rest. Every side we play which includes Saturday’s opponents FC Bolsover are providing to be big tests for us and we just need to push into the gears we know we can achieve.”

From the opposing dugout, Bolover boss Adam Valente commented, “We travel to Eccleshill United on Saturday who are second in the league to what is a busy and a vital game. In fact three games in five days so we will be utilising the squad to the full potential.

“We have a few players away but we have a good enough squad going up after Saturday’s performance – they carnt get any worse. So we need to put it right seing there result on Wednesday, which I was surprised at so we know we can make it difficult for them. They will get frustrated and maybe can just pinch who knows football is a funny old game.”
