Pirie hopeful Botty can start to fulfil their fixtures…before next season!

Anyone looking for Toolstation NCEL Premier Division action at the Birkdale Stadium on Wednesday night-when 21st-paced Parkgate are due to try once more to fulfil a fixture at Bottesford Town originally slated for the turn of the year-would do well to heed the meteorological wisdom of Poachers Head of Media Operations Howard Pirie ahead of the game , writes Colin Muncie.
Howard told us “In an emotional interview from his private submarine, Chairman Tony Reeve can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. “I think the pitch will be dry on the 14th to 17th of August; we have had a word with the players and we are prepared to play 3 games a day, we will start next season as quick as we can and play catch up. In the meantime we are looking to relocate the club to the top of a hill, and , on a positive note, we have hired the pitch out to a diving club so revenue is still coming in.
“We we will stay afloat”
