Stocks pleased with season extension ahead of tough Ammas test!

Thirteenth-placed Swallownest will be hoping that the rain relents at Rotherham Road tomorrow night when fourth-placed Yorkshire Amateur travel south for a fascinating-looking Toolstation NCEL Division One clash – and Swallownest Manager Jordan Stocks is looking forward to getting back into action ,writes Colin Muncie.
Jordan told the Bootiful Game ” Once again after a frustrating period of two games been called off, we look forward to playing and testing ourselves against one of the leagues best sides. We are strangely coming of one of our best performances (Frickley) so we will look to apply the same intensity and positive football to this game. I don’t feel the pitch will be pretty so whoever plays the pitch best will win tomorrow’s fixture.”
Jordan welcomed the League’s extension to the season “The league being extended eases our load a bit but we aim to finish strongly as for the second half of season we have been up there as one of the top six 6 form sides” Jordan explained . “We just took our time adjusting to the standard, but I have to praise the lads for their application under Andy (Stevens ) and me as they’ve proven to be quite a squad”.
“So we look to finish as high as we can”
