Morris knows Worsbrough will have to be in top gear on Saturday

Fourteenth in Toolstation NCEL Division One, Dronfield Town head the 25 miles to Park Road tomorrow; and lying in wait will be 20th-placed Worsborough Bridge Athletic, who will be keen to stretch the five point advantage they hold over 21st-placed Retford-and although he’s found the impact of the weather unhelpful, to say the least, Briggers Manager Lee Morris is certain that his players will be ready for what looks like an attractive match-up, writes Colin Muncie.

Lee told the Bootiful Game “I’ll be glad to get a game in. It’s been a frustrating time not just for us but all the clubs; we have a couple of great results, build up some momentum and then the weather spoils it again. But there’s no point moaning about it, because one thing’s for sure…you can’t beat the weather”.

Lee reported that his preparations have gone well this week. “We trained well in midweek and the lads are high on confidence; but we are up against a very tough team who have had a good season, so we have to be at our best to get something from the game”.

“It should make for a cracking game”.
