It was a topsy turvy afternoon for NCEL Division One side Rossington Main as they came from behind to draw against AFC Emley after leading early.
Just five minutes in Lee Holmes opened the scoring from the penalty spot. A ten-minute spell just before the break saw Emley scored twice but Rosso were not finished and equalised with fifthteen minutes to go sharing the spoils.

Manager Lee Danysz was fair on his relfection as always, “I thought we did ok and got a some sort of reaction that as a group we needed. Still some way to go to get to the levels I expect. We started well and deserved to be in the lead, but again showed our vulnerabilities and gave away a good lead with some poor decision making.
“That maybe have just been a lack of confidence with the run we’ve been on, so we went in to half time disappointed. We just asked for more energy and just stick to our own game. We were by far the better team 2nd half and felt we deserved the 3 points but just happy to stop the run of poor results and see that the lads have everything.
“I think in normal circumstances the game wouldn’t have been played as the pitch wasn’t playable, credit to both teams to knuckle down and just play they game.”
