Stocks reflects on season and he’s…

After that narrow away defeat to Play –Off chasers Glasshoughton Welfare last night, Swallownest return to base tomorrow night when sixteenth-placed Ollerton Town visit Rotherham Road –and Swallownest Manager Jordan Stocks is pleased to be back in S26 after consecutive road trips, writes Colin Muncie.

Jordan told the Bootiful Game “Tomorrow’s game is a welcome home game, if I’m honest, with all the mid week travel and the fast turnaround of fixtures. It’s hard to really read much into Ollerton, we had a tough away fixture against them (a 2-2 draw just before Christmas).”

Jordan is pretty happy with life right now. “As far as we are concerned we have 52 points on the board, we’re currently 11th and we’re competing well in every game, so we are happy. We really deserved something from Glasshoughton away but football doesn’t always give you what you deserve, so we go again after a day’s rest”.

“We will look to freshen the side up- and play in an attacking way”
