Ambers ready for tough run-in

Five games left for fourth-placed Handsworth Parramore, who’ll be looking to continue their fine season when they leave the M1 at Junction 47 tomorrow afternoon for their away appointment with twelfth-placed Garforth Town at the Supply Chain Network Stadium-and Handsworth manager Jas Colliver feels that his side will have benefitted from a couple of days off, writes Colin Muncie.

Jas told the Bootiful Game “We’ve had a few more days rest so hopefully we can reap the rewards on Saturday. I got the lads in training tonight for a loosener and a bit of fun! The lads have always trained well and it’s something I’m passionate about. We’ve had outstanding attendance to training and I do believe this bunch of lads look forward to training and don’t see it as a chore-maybe not on the hottest day of the year though!”.

Jas has had an eye on the Miners before the game on Saturday “We are aware of Garforth’s strengths and we are fully aware of their results and games over the last seven days which will take its toll on any team. The hectic schedule will catch up on them and I’m hoping it’s on Saturday- we came through our busiest period last week and then we’re preparing for another busy week starting on Saturday”.

“The lads are in good spirits and ready to give their all once again -for us as a Management team and our club”.
