One of our many great contributors to the Bootiful game, there’s no denying the fine job that Jordan Stocks and his players have done this term. Yesterday, though Eleventh in the table, Swallownest lost 3-1 at home to Toolstation NCEL Division One Automatic Promotion seekers Grimsby Borough in a feisty afternoon at Rotherham Road – and Jordan rattled off the key numbers as a measure of his frustration, writes Colin Muncie.
Jordan barked at the Bootiful Game “Right; today’s stats- 2 managers sent off, 1 player sent off, 1 penalty and a goal that was the most blatant foul on a keeper that you will ever see. It was eventful. By our opponents admission we deserved something and were up against it. As a team we were exceptional against -in my opinion -the best side in the League. I can’t really say much more as those stats say everything. It’s just a good job we are secure where we are in the table”.
“I do genuinely wish Grimsby all the best in their quest for promotion”.
