Non-league dog day at Maltby as they look to set new record!

On Saturday April 28, supporters.co.uk are encouraging dog-lovers to ‘bring your hounds to the ground’ as Maltby Main football club attempts to set a new record for the most dogs attending a non-league football match.

Darrell Johnson and Wilf Race from Maltby Main FC with supporters.co.uk mascots Dandelion and Murdoch.

The South Yorkshire club want as many dog-owning football fans to turn up with their pooches to watch their final game of the season against Pontefract Colliery FC, on what is officially designated Non-League Dog Day.

As well as trying to set a record, Maltby Main FC is also raising money for Support Dogs, and we’ll be holding a bucket collection on the day.

The club’s target is to get 100 dogs to the ground in Muglet Lane, so do come along and support the world record attempt, and raise funds for us.

It’s is free to pre-register your dog at the match and all dogs will be given a certificate to confirm their participation.
