A successful weekend for the players of the future at Bottesford Town

Away from a hectic week of Toolstation NCEL Premier Division action, it’s been a hugely successful weekend for the players of the future at Bottesford Town –and ,as Poachers Head of Media Operations Howard Pirie reminds us, there’s a busy conveyor belt of promising footballers making their mark in and around the Birkdale Stadium these days, writes Colin Muncie.

Howard told the Bootiful Game “it was a great day for the club today as our under -14’s and Under-15’s won Cup Finals and our under -18’s won the Lincolnshire County Cup Final at Sincil Bank. Our Sunday side won their League and one of our first team players -Craig Bridge’s Anglers- won their County Cup Final. We are not cash rich by a long shot but we have so much strength in depth. Lots of youth development and good people at all levels making a difference.”

“When we sit back and reflect what we are building here ,we can be justifiably proud. If Carlsberg did Sunday’s they would have done 29th April 2018”.
