We spoke to Liversedge before tonight’s trip to Bottesford Town and their manager Jonathan Rimmington explained that he was struggling to field a fully fit side.
They arrived and started with just ten men as one player was running late. Then, on the second half, with the score at 5-0 to Bottesford, ‘Sedge had numerous injuries and ran out of allotted players meaning it was abandoned on 75 minutes.
We will have reaction tomorrow on this.
@Liversedge_FC @BottesfordTown just to clarify we were starting with 11 as Rhys davis was travelling from Leeds but his tutor at uni wouldn’t let him go early, he came on on around 40 minutes after travelling

It seems like making us play back to back away games, the second starting less than 22 hours after the first had ended (and that game went to extra time), following on from playing 4 games in 6 days the prior week, might not have been the greatest idea.

Feel for @Liversedge_FC tonight. Given an impossible schedule. Trying their best but fixtures are massively against them. Fair play for the effort they are putting in.
