Millington looking forward to summer break

Ready for a well-earned break after a season of progress at Stonelow Road, Dronfield Town Manager Chris Millington gathers his troops together one last time as they head to Selby Town (9th) tonight in Toolstation NCEL Division One –and as Chris contemplates a lengthy to-do list at Millington Towers, he admits it probably won’t be too long before he’s looking forward to getting back in the technical area, writes Colin Muncie.

Chris told the Bootiful Game “Well, it’s here -the last game of the season; and I think all managers will say that it’s been a long one. However we will all probably be missing it like crazy come mid-May!  It’s nice to finish the season knowing that we don’t have to do as much recruitment work as we did last pre- season ,so we can have a little break and concentrate on taking this group -plus a couple of new additions -forward into next season. Selby will be a tough one tonight but we will be using the game to look at a couple of different things that we may look to do next season”

Chris has been a valued contributor to TBG throughout the season. “Just a quick one to say thank you to the Bootiful Game for the exposure you have given our club this season- it’s been invaluable”.
