Pirie and Clayton delighted to win TBG Contributor award

After over 500 votes, it has just been announced that Howard Pirie and Paul Clayton have won the NCEL Premier Division and Division One contributor of the season.

Once again they have both given us their thoughts about winning the award, first off Howard, “Got this gig by accident, thank you to everyone for voting for me, thank you to Bottesford Town FC, thank you to BBA, to Craig and Colin putting up with me, to Barbara for saying I’m not funny, to Craig Bridge for saying it’s Dad Banter, to Deightsy and Bernard for your ridicule my parents for getting together, to my mate Ian Shale for never laughing, to Macca for letting me be a part of this and finally to me because without me this wouldn’t have been possible.

“Anybody who wants me to do this for them, I am not available as I love it UP THE BOTTY.”

Whilst Paul said, “I think The Bootiful Game has now become an integral part of the NCE Match Days, which shows by how many different people give you their pre and post match views.

“I try and give a balanced and honest view of each game so it’s pleasing to get a little bit of recognition for it. Thanks to everyone who reads the contributions and obviously to those that voted. It’s very much appreciated.”
