Spinks leaves Rangers for Westella management role

It’s just over 12 months since we said goodbye to Westella & Willerby after they turned down a reprieve from the NCEL – but they seem to be turning a corner and now have Chris Spinks on board who has joined from Hall Road Rangers as Assistant Player-Manager.

“Yes, my next chapter is Assistant Player Manager back with Westella. The opportunity come up to go back in as a part of the management structure, its going to be tough but a challenge I am looking forward to after a couple of weeks Holiday.

“It’s a great opportunity to go back to a club I love and get on the ladder as such in terms of management! Westella has always been ran proffesionally from the top and it’s a new challenge

“I can’t mention to much about the Team around me but I will be surrounding myself with experience and great football people!”

“It will be hard no doubt but lets see what the future holds…Westella will be back in the NCEL, all just a matter of time.”

Good luck Chris in your new role and we do hope to see Westella back in the NCEL shortly.
