Maltby Main announce new Assistant Manager

Within the past ten minutes NCEL Premier Division side Maltby Main have announced a new Assistant Manager following the departure of Mark Askwith yesterday.

“The club are pleased to announce that we will have Louis Axcell on our management team with an immediate start as assistant to Scott Mason and alongside John Crossland.

We are very pleased he’s agreed to join us and brings in a great deal of knowledge for us to keep building on last season.

Louis has played in the Dr Martens League (now Evo Stick), he has won the NCEL Premier Division (with Buxton) and Division One title and the League Cup (with Dinnington).

He has his UEFA B Level Coaching Badge and been successful on the coaching and management teams at Handsworth FC reserves/U18’s.

We welcome him on board and we’ve already met up at the monthly meeting on tonight.

We also appreciate and thank everyone at Handsworth for allowing Louis to take up the position with us. They’ve made it very easy to happen for him.

Louis said “I’m keen to get started already and have been looking forward to meeting you all tonight and getting to know what you all do and also what I have to offer”.

Let’s hope for a successful period with us.

As always; UTM!”

L to R. Louis, Scott, John.
