Seasiders hoping to lift East Riding Senior Cup for 4th successive year!

It’s a repeat of last year’s Final tonight in the East Riding Senior Cup as Curtis Woodhouse marches his men to the Roy West Centre in Hull as they face Hull City, hoping to lift the trophy for the fourth consecutive season.

“It’s a great opportunity for our lads to go up against the quality Hull City will have and a real test for us, we will have to defend very well and also concentrate at all times as I expect Hull City to dominate possession and try to drag us around so our shape is vital for us to stand a chance”, commented Woodhouse earlier today.

“John Beale is doing a great job with the youth team and producing players that are pushing on to the first team and I like the way his teams play so it will be a good test for us and me as a manager as tactically I’ll have to be switched on myself.

“We will look to counter attack with pace when the opportunity arises and we must be ruthless in front of goal to stand any chance. We beat them last season so hopefully that will give our lads the belief that we can do it again. It’s a great evening for it, the suns shining so come down and watch what should be a great cup final.”
