Ponte pull off another coup of a signing

Last night we announced that Pontefract Collieries had signed Jack Greenhough for another season and now, they have secured striker Vaughan Redford once again.

“The club are delighted to announce that our young attacking player Vaughan Redford has extended his stay at the club for another 12 months.

Our fans will be delighted at the news that another of our bright young stars has committed his future to the club.

Vaughan who was an almost ever present in last year’s title winning squad contributed with 22 goals for the season.

The management team said about Vaughan extending his stay “we are obviously delighted that another of our title winning squad has decided to stay at the club. After a long pursuit we finally got Vaughan to the club last year and like a lot of our players he had a brilliant season overall. We look forward to working with him again and helping him further improve his game.”
