After six successful years at the club, Marc Cooper has left Cleethorpes Town and signed for neighbours Grimsby Borough.
The 28-year old has over 175 appearances and scored well over 100 goals for the ckub in his time with the Owls.
“I took he decision to leave Clee after game time became very limited in the second half of the season, I’m not a player that’s ever going to be happy watching and just collecting money, I want to be playing every game.
We ask Marc about his greatest memory, “Best memory can only be playing in the FA Vase Final at Wembley. It was an incredible experience and one that not alot of players have done, it wasn’t the result we was after but to play at Wembley with players that I’ve grown up with was a dream.
Having score plenty of goals their had to be a favourite…or two, “There’s two that stick in my mind both in friendlies haha the chip versus Harrogate probably just beats the volley against Grimsby Town.
“I’d like to thank everyone that has wished me well for the future.”
