Just six weeks ago Glasshoughton Welfare’s season came to an abrupt end with play-off semi-final defeat to Grimsby Borough – but they have big plans going forward and this includes their latest acquisition of retained Rob Oldham.
Joint manager Lee Vigars said, “Delighted to announce that Rob Oldham has been retained for the 2018/19 season. Rob has attracted a great deal of attention from a number of clubs in the off season so to secure his signature is a huge coup for the club. Since joining us last year he’s been outstanding and brought some real quality to the side. We have big plans this coming year and Rob is a big part of those.
