Ollerton release statement after Wildey departure

Last night it was announced by new EvoStik Premier Division East side Pontefract Collieries has appointed Ollerton Town’s Jordan Wildey as their new goalkeeping coach.

A statement from Ollerton had only good things to say about Jordan, “Ollerton Town Football Club can confirm that Jordan Wildey has left his role as first team coach to take up the role of goalkeeper coach at Evo Stik side Pontefract Colleries.

Jordan joined the club at the start of last season from fellow NCEL side Rossington Main and soon became a popular figure in the dressing room with his passion for the game and commitment to playing attractive football. In his time at The Lane, Jordan was also a media darling for NCEL Magazine ‘The Bootiful Game’, Jordan representing the club extremely well in all of his interviews.

Everyone at the club understands Jordan’s reason for leaving and we’d like to thank him for all his efforts last season and wish him well for the future.
