Non-League Semi-Pro Footballer enters ITV’s Love Island

A semi-pro footballer from Essex entered the Love Island villa on Thursday evening – 22-year-old Jack Fowler who is from London, and plays for Step 3 side Harlow Town after recently moving from Grays Athletic is now looking for love on the ITV show.

Who is Jack Fowler?

Jack is a semi-professional footballer who played for Grays Athletic Football Club, before recently moving to Isthmian Premier Division side Harlow Town.

The Hawks signed Jack Fowler from Grays Athletic in February 2018. He is a centre-back who has also previously played for Ware in Hertfordshire.

Jack injured his ankle in his first training session, so will have to wait to make his debut for the club.

How does he describe himself?

He is not shy with his feelings and wears his heart on his sleeve, Mirror Online reports.

“I’m quite open so I won’t be scared to approach a girl and tell her how I’m feeling,” he says.

Jack says he hasn’t got a type: “It’s all about getting on a level with someone.

“I’d like a brunette girl who is curvy with a nice bum and a nice smile and nice eyes. But we also need a connection.”

“Going past that, I’m mature for my age, people think I’m older than I am on an emotional level,” he says.

“I think people might get frustrated with how honest I can be, people can think that is a threat. When I’m in a room, people know I’m there. I’ve got a good vibe about me.

“I’ve got an ex, she left me about a year and a half ago and I was devastated,” he says. “When we broke up I went to Ireland to get away from it all.”
