Welfare boss Mike Carmody has added another face to his squad for the 2018/19 season by acquiring the signature of experienced midfielder Jason Crisp.
Crisp has previous NCEL experience at the likes of Barton Town and Selby Town and did make one appearance for Welfare last season at home to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic in October 2017.
Manager Carmody said of Crisp’s signing, “I’m delighted to have signed Jason. He’s a player I’ve known for some time now and he’s come back this pre-season looking sharpe and ready to go. He’s also such a comfortable footballer who makes things look easy at times. I’m sure he’ll be a great addition for us this season.”
