Handsworth Parramore fell just short of promotion last season and will certainly be one of the front runners going into the new NCEL Premier Division campaign.
Ambers manager James Colliver commented, “Pre-season frustrates me if I’m honest, it’s false and you’re never able to get any consistency or rhythm to your play as it’s stop start and lots of substitutions. Semi professional footballers also take holidays during this period so I never read anything or take anything from Pre season apart from the lads getting minutes on the pitch and building a dressing room of lads all wanting the same outcome.
“The signings have added quality to our strong group of players , I’ve brought in leaders, experience and creativity.
“Two more pre -season games to go both will be tough tests but our focus is building up towards August 4th.”
