EYC record 1st league win since February!

On paper you would probably given Glasshoughton Welfare, last season’s play-off Semi-Finalists, the favourites category as they arrive in Hull to face East Yorkshire Carnegie this afternoon- but boy you’d have been wrong.

Two goals before the half-hour mark put Carnegie in charge with Ryan Williams and James Webb scoring. Glassy did get one back before the break with a well taken Rob Oldham goal.

But the home side came out firing and scored two quick-fire goals in the second half gifting them a well earnt win – their first league win since early February against Retford United.
