28 years ago NCEL Premier Division side Bridlington Town reached the 1st Round Proper of the FA Cup and current manager Curtis Woodhouse certainly has the pedigree and desire to emulate the “old days”.
On Saturday they host fellow NCEL top flight side Harrogate Railway Athletic who are going through a transition period under new manager Brian Davey.
Bridlington have started the season well, actually we say well but Woodhouse wasn’t too impressed with their opening performance, despite the win.
“Saturday is an important game for everybody at this level as it generates some much needed money”, Woodhouse commented.
“To progress we must improve from last Saturday and I’ll be making a few changes but we go into the game well prepared and excited.”
