Hall Road Rangers Dismantled By Yorkshire Amateur!
Hall Road Rangers succumbed to a 1-5 defeat against Yorkshire Amateur in the only game in the NCEL Premier Division today.
It was a game dominated by Yorkshire Amateur striker Ashley Flynn who bagged himself four goals out of five! His first goal came in the 23rd minute, but it was cancelled out 12 minutes later when a screamer from Conner Harman levelled the game at 1-1.
This was the score when the half-time whistle was blown. After the break is when Yorkshire Amateur took control of the game. Three goals in 13 second half minutes from Ashley Flynn saw them go 1-4 up, the first coming in the 62nd minute. His hat-trick was completed three minutes later when he slotted home to make it 1-3. His and Yorkshire’s fourth was scored in the 75th minute, once again slotting the ball away with ease to seal the win.
Yorkshire didn’t stop there though as a fifth goal was scored five minutes from time by Thomas Rose to put the game to bed and to make the scoreline 1-5 to the visitors. After that great win, Yorkshire Amateur now sit 6th in the table gaining three points in their first two games. Hall Road Rangers are rock bottom of the league without a win and a goal difference of -7 after their first two games!
