Borough expecting a tasty affair tonight!

One League win and one draw so far for Toolstation NCEL Division One title contenders Grimsby Borough, who make the 40-mile trip to the Vertigo Stadium tomorrow night to face Skegness Town, who put their first win on the board last Saturday with that home win over FC Bolsover –and the Wilderness Boys Joint Managers are expecting a difficult evening, writes Colin Muncie.

Nathan Collins told the Bootiful Game “We know Tuesday will be another tough game as I fully expect Skegness to finish in the top 10 of the league at the end of the season. They have some good players and a good manager -but we try not to concern ourselves with who we are playing too much and just concentrate on our own game. We are confident in our squad of players -and our footballing ethos -so hopefully we can go and get another three points on the board on Tuesday night”.

Joint Manager Daniel Barrett agrees. “Tuesday will be -without a doubt -a tough game” he predicted “I know a few of their lads and they are decent players. We are starting to find our legs a little bit now so hopefully we can start to get a good run of form”.

“I’m sure it will be a tasty affair”.
