Harrogate Railway Athletic suffered a third consecutive defeat in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division after a 2-1 home defeat to Hall Road Rangers, who posted a first three point haul with that win at Station View-and Rail’s Brian Davey felt that the winning spot kick was tough on his side, writes Colin Muncie.
Hall Road led at the break through Charlie Birley’s strike just before the break, but Fatlum Ibrahimi levelled for Harrogate immediately after the interval in front of the 62-strong crowd; but Fraser Hansen’s 82nd minute penalty secured the win for Rangers.
Davey told the Bootiful Game “ We’re disappointed . Hall Road were the better side in the first half. We came out in the second half, scored, and should have had another as we were on top for twenty minutes. That second goal never came- then we conceded a harsh penalty which took the 3 points again”.
“We lost another two defenders to injury-we’re running out of defenders at the minute”.
