ANDERSON is wary of Sedge’s attacking threat!”

Two wins -and a one hundred percent record -into their debut season in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division, Knaresborough Town make for Liversedge, also two from two, in an early table-topping clash at the Clayborn Ground tomorrow- and Knaresborough’s Assistant Manager, Gregg Anderson is wary of Sedge’s attacking threat, writes Colin Muncie.

Gregg told the Bootiful Game “It’s probably going to be our hardest test of the season seeing how they have started. They have a very good front line and –from what we have seen of them- play with three up! They are well- organised and it’s going to be a good test. We are still finding our feet and are being a bit cagy, to be honest; we need to start expressing ourselves more. Hard work comes first -that’s a must- but with the lads we have in the squad we need to start getting their full ability out of them. It will come- I believe that!”

Gregg has a few absentees tomorrow “Unfortunately we are missing 5 key players from the squad” he reported “That’s going to weaken any squad in League football -let alone Non-League. But it’s a great opportunity for the lads who haven’t been starting to show us why they should be. The lads who will be coming in are more than capable of performing well -and they have to take their chance!”

“I’m looking forward to the game- and as always we will be hoping for a win!”
