Billericay Town owner Glenn Tamplin put the club up for sale 5 days ago, and vowed to continue to pay the club’s £30,000 a week overheads.
However, the former manager has come out and told the media that he is going to be back in the dugout for this Saturday’s game. Tamplin has previous been the club’s manager but he sacked himself in a bizzare situation earlier this year.
“I will be joint manager alongside Tristan Lewis this weekend,” said Tamplin. “I am still in talks regarding the sale of the club but there are no significant developments yet.
“I am paying for the club’s overheads this week and will not let the club down.”
