Worsbrough beginning to look like serious contenders ahead of Shirebrook test

No doubt about it – Worsborough Bridge Athletic are emerging as serious contenders in Toolstation NCEL Division One this term. They occupy third place with fifteen points from their six games; on Saturday, however ,they head to seventh-placed Shirebrook Town -and Briggers Manager Lee Morris is understandably wary of the trip to Langwith Road, writes Colin Muncie.

Lee told the Bootiful Game ” I’m expecting a tough game. Shirebrook are a great team with a very good manager so Saturday is going to be hard; but it’s also the next test in our season and it’s one we are looking forward to.We worked hard last night in training and we are under no illusions that we are going to have to be at our best to go there and get three points”.

” But that’s our game plan – and we will certainly try our best to do it”.
