It was a hard but thought provoking lesson for Garforth Town and manager Rob Hunter as they bowed out of the FA Cup, losing 5-1 to EvoStik powerhouse South Shields.
“Probably the best side I have seen at this lever, gave us an absolute lesson in 2 touch football, pass and move.
“Great credit to our boys because they never stopped working but without Toby Wells having the game of his life it could have been 8 or 9.
We will not be any worse for the experience and we’ll be ready for another tough game on Tuesday against Knaresborough.”
