Heath says Knaresborough must carry Cup form into League

It’s a big warm welcome to Knaresborough Town’s player-coach Colin Heath who has taken the media mantel from Assistant Manager Gregg Anderson as he looks ahead to their NCEL Premier Division midweek game away at Garforth Town.

“It’s going to be a tough game after both teams being involved in the FA Cup at the weekend and I’m expecting a high tempo game after last year’s Cup game against them.

“So we have to make sure we carry all the good things we did Saturday and into this game. It very easy to get distracted with Cup runs and especially when we played so well on Saturday but that’s gone now and tomorrow we have to be focused on getting our league form back on track.”

“Although Garforth lost on Saturday they haven’t lost in three in the league, so we will need to be right at it from the 1st minute.”
