Agnew looking forward to getting started as 1st game in charge comes to fruition

The new Bridlington Town Interim Manager Brett Agnew is looking forward to welcoming Northern League side Consett in the FA Vase on Saturday for his first game in charge, writes Ian Robinson.

“I’m looking forward to Saturday and I’m getting into the manager mode quite quickly! Myself and Bowz have had two training sessions with the lads and managed to work on things we want to implement going forward.

“I know how strongly Consett have started but to be honest, I’m not interested in what’s in the opposition’s dressing room, as I have a great group of talented footballers who have all said they are buying into me as Manager. They want to play for Brid so Bowz and I are over the moon with the attitude and dedication of the lads. I would ask for all the fans and the town to get behind myself, Bowz and the players on Saturday.

“I would also like to thank Pete for such a great opportunity to manage Bridlington Town.”
