Dronfield Town will be hoping to take their excellent League form into Saturday’s FA Vase Second Qualifying Round tie at home to United Counties League Premier Division side Harborough Town at Stonelow Road – and as you’d expect, Dronfield Manager Chris Millington is respectful – but not frightened-of the men from Leicestershire, writes Colin Muncie.
Chris told the Bootiful Game “We know that Saturday’s FA Vase game will be another good game as we welcome a team that play in the step above us. We have had a really good start to the season but we are very aware that things can change quickly in football. It’s important that we keep doing the things that have brought us success and working hard in between matches to keep the lads sharp”.
Chris is delighted by the atmosphere in and around the club right now. “The lads have been terrific so far and there is a good feel about the place at the minute” he said. “Saturday’s game is important for the profile of the club and a win will bring in much needed income to help with running costs and the like.”
“Hopefully we can get a few through the gate to help the lads in what I expect to be a really tough encounter”
