Ogilvie thought game was spoilt by Refereeing decision just before the break!

Harrogate Railway Athletic stayed rooted to the foot of the NCEL Premier Division table on Saturday as they went down 3-1 to Yorkshire Amateur and Railway’ S manager Craig Ogilvie had some choice words.

“Story of the men in black I’m afraid! You need luck going to places like Yorkshire Amateur and at 2-1, Ammers weren’t playing how they can play and we were battling hard and playing our game.

“However a poor decision which even their bench agreed should have been a yellow ended up being a Red and that was right on the stroke of half-time.

“What could have been a good game and more free flowing ended up with us having to reassemble our formation and ultimate play really on the back foot and hope to break.

“Our lads to be fair were superb throughout. Even when down to 10 we were really organised and showed they can be hard to break down. A 3-1 defeat away to Ammers playing with 10-men for 45 minutes yet again provides us with more positives than negatives and as I said before the game, today won’t make or break our season.”
